Céline Dion is all set to take you down memory lane at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

This year, Titanic, the legendary movie we all grew up watching, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The soundtrack featured a song titled My Heart Will Go On by Céline Dion, and to put it delicately, the song spanned ages and generations. It  hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and was named Soundtrack Album of the Year at the 1998 Billboard Music Awards. My Heart Will Go On, received numerous accolades including an Academy Award for Best Original Song and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. The hit track made grown men, as well as women weep with the moving lyrics, and add to that Jack and Rose’s evergreen love. It was a sob fest, but hey, we loved it.

The iconic movie celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate the legacy than to bring out the diva herself who was the voice behind the track; Céline Dion! At the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, you’d best grab your tissue box, because the waterworks are going to be in full flow. Céline’s powerful voice and commanding presence will once again bring the song to the forefront via an unforgettable live performance.

“This song means a lot to me, and it has played such a huge role in my career,” said Dion. “I’m so grateful to the late James Horner, and to Will Jennings, for writing it and creating the opportunity for me to be part of Titanic, an amazing film whose legacy will continue for generations to come. It’s a great honor to have the opportunity to perform it on the Billboard Music Awards’ international stage, in celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary.” said Céline.

With the grand lineup of performers already building up the hype for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, you’ve just got one more. Happy days indeed!
