The 2017 Billboard Music Awards just got a dash of colour, courtesy the pop-up card company, Lovepop!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you know what the ‘Shark Tank’ is. The show sees entrepreneurs turn up with their ideas in hopes of getting funded by any of the four business moguls. Lovepop, a company founded by Wombi Rose and John Wise, made its debut on the show in 2015 only to be picked up by none other than ‘Mr. Wonderful’ Kevin O’Leary! Needless to say, O’Leary propelled the company to unfathomable heights.

Remember the cool pop-up cards you get in card stores that brings out your inner child? Well, Lovepop does exactly that; except their cards are intricately designed, hand crafted, and they create beautiful 3D sculptures inside them. Basically, they’ve taken the pop-up card game up a thousand notches. They’ve been roped in by the BBMAs to replace the boring winner’s envelope we’ve all seen over the years. These cards are going to be a one-of-a-kind paper art, designed exclusively for the winning artist, and unveiled by the award presenter.

Prior to the show, O’Leary has arranged for the Shark Tank cameras back into the design studio, to give an in-depth look into the process for the creation of the unique envelopes for the BBMAs.

Taking into consideration all the performances, the quirks, and the works, the 2017 BBMAs are shaping up to be the event of the year!
