Jak and Daxter are finally coming back to PlayStation.

In 2012 we were treated to PlayStation 3-flavoured versions of the Jak and Daxter Trilogy, but these four classic Naughty Dog adventure games – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing – are getting the full HD upgrade treatment for the PlayStation 4 this time.

They’ll come complete with 1080p, Shareplay and Remote Play enabling, a shiny new Activity Feed, plus a load of new trophies, too.

Of all the titles, we’re particularly excited to see Jak X: Combat Racing – Naughty Dog’s “wild vehicular combat PS2 classic” – make the list, as it hasn’t been repackaged since it hit PlayStation 2 way back in October 2005. There won’t be online multiplayer (sad face) but with couch co-op available, it’s the only excuse you need to get your BFF over for some quality gaming time!

“Longtime fans and new players alike can experience the incredible exploits of Jak and Daxter as the duo sets out to explore ancient lands and unravel the mysteries of the Precursors,” states a blog update on the PS Blog.
