The Malibu singer’s new music is coming a lot sooner than we thought… Miley Cyrus made an unexpected music announcement overnight – the album is coming next month!

The We Can’t Stop singer returned earlier this year with the gorgeous summer anthem Malibu but has remained tight-lipped about the status of her next album, which we now know is titled Younger Now.

A surprise website make-over has revealed the title written in rope on the back of a bedazzled leather jacket, with ‘NEW ALBUM 9.29’ studded underneath.

A BRAND NEW MILEY CYRUS ALBUM ON SEPTEMBER 29?! That’s just seven weeks away! This is too much.

Miley has been confirmed as a performer at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards this month and her website is asking fans to subscribe to her Spotify “for upcoming music”, so we have a feeling the next single could drop any day now.

Yaaaaas I'll be performing @vmas !!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

While we don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, if you cast your mind back to when we were all turning up to ‘We Can’t Stop’ when she suddenly dropped the career-defining follow-up ‘Wrecking Ball’… the next song could be another massive anthem from the singer.

The Bangerz era gave us some of the most memorable visuals, performances and moments in recent pop culture history so we cannot WAIT to see what Younger Now will bring!
