Selena Gomez is getting back to the music with the highly-anticipated Marshmello collaboration. The ‘Hands To Myself’ singer’s third album campaign came to a sudden halt this summer when she underwent a kidney transplant but it seems like she’s ready to come back with a brand new single. Producer Marshmello has revealed their previously-confirmed dance track is “coming very very soon.”

AH! Selena first confirmed the song’s existence last month, saying the dance track is “one of my favourite songs” on her upcoming third solo album, the follow-up to 2015’s incredible Revival. Marshmello has now teased the imminent release date after a fan asked for “a tip about your music with Selena”, i.e. a release date, the title, a lyric, the song length, whether or not the title has any vowels, ANYTHING. While ‘soon’ is a pop fan’s most feared word, we’re going to hope that he’s being truthful and wait for it to appear on a New Music Friday playlist very soon!

Selena kicked off her latest campaign with the brilliant, kooky lead single Bad Liar and the Gucci Mane-assisted second single Fetish, while this collaboration is expected to be the “upbeat” banger she confirmed earlier this summer.

It’s been a while since she gave us an all-out dancefloor anthem so we are more than ready for this!
