There’s no denying that we are huge Stormzy fans. Ever since he released his debut single ‘Know Me From’ in 2015, we have followed his career with admiration and pride. From Platinum singles to Number 1 albums, the beloved rapper is killing it right now.

The ‘Shut Up’ hitmaker closed the BRITs tonight and it’s safe to say that it was the performance of the evening.

NO. WE ARE NOT JOKING. THE GRIME SUPERSTAR WAS THE UNDISPUTED KING OF THE BRITS.

As any living legend does, Stormzy did not just perform one song at the show but instead, he ran through a medley of his major hits including ‘Big For Your Boots’ and ‘Blinded By Your Grace’. Showing of his unmatched skill, the entire set was breathtaking.

Seriously, we could watch the new British icon perform his music anytime, anywhere, he’s that talented.

He also included a incredible moving new freestyle verse dedicated to the victims of the Grenfell fire that called out Theresa May and The Daily Mail, in a moment that has sent Twitter into a frenzy and become immediately iconic.

Stormzy performs at The BRIT Awards 2018 held at The O2 Arena on February 21, 2018 in London, England.

The BRITs come at the end of what has been an unprecedented album campaign for Stormzy. Not only was Gang Signs and Prayer one of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling albums of 2017 in the UK but it also produced a huge four hit singles.

It’s no surprise that he won Best British Male and Mastercard British Album of the Year at this year’s awards show.

We couldn’t be happier for the UK superstar. There’s no question that he definitely deserves them.

Stormzy currently stars on Jorja Smith’s stunning hit single ‘Let Me Down’.

Fingers crossed that he releases more music and big features this year.
