Harry Styles’ debut solo album came out last Friday and went straight to Number One in 84 countries. Harry was probably quite happy about this news, considering that it topped the charts in almost half the world. The album definitely could’ve done a bit worse.

To celebrate, Styles played an impromptu gig – his first solo show – over the weekend (May 13) at London’s legendary venue, The Garage. (A very popular space during the 1990s, now regularly used by artists too big for its tiny room to make a big impact.)

Styles showcased the album in full and even dropped in a surprise cover of Kanye West’s excellent Ultralight Beam, one of the best tracks from his 2016 album The Life Of Pablo, which featured a brilliant Chance the Rapper verse. (“I made Sunday Candy, I’m never going to hell / I met Kanye West, I’m never going to fail.”)
